The International Football Federation (FIFA) today published the global transfer report, in which the total expenses are 8.245 billion euros, an amount that ranks second in all time.

2024 was a record for the world transfer market. 78,742 international transfers have been completed, the highest digit ever made. The figure is official and is offered by the Global Transfer Report 2024, which set the total operations at $ 8.59 billion (approximately 8.245 billion euros). It is the second largest amount in history, after the one in 2023.

Regarding the total operations on the market, the Brazilian clubs are at the forefront of this special ranking: 1,102 departures and 1,113 entries. The number of clubs who have invested in the purchase of players continue to grow, reaching a record of 1,100 clubs. 1378 football clubs (another record) recorded at least one transfer to the departures.

The female football market also continues to grow, with 2,284 transfers (+20.8%) and a total expense of $ 15.6 million, more than double than 2023.
