There are people who dream for years to get to UNTOLD. People who watch every aftermovie, save every lineup, imagine what it would be like to be in front of the stage with friends under the festival lights. People who say “maybe next year” too many times but never really give up on their dream.
For them, UNTOLD launches Joy Ticket, an initiative created for those who carry the festival in their hearts, but for whom the price of a ticket can be a barrier. Under the message “Ticket paid for with dreams. Your story can take you to UNTOLD.”, Joy Ticket offers fans the chance to reach the festival through a mechanism based on honesty, story and contribution that everyone can realistically afford.
Joy Ticket is an invitation to those who feel they belong at UNTOLD and have an honest story to tell. Everyone can apply for themselves or nominate a loved one: a friend, family member or someone who deserves to experience UNTOLD, but who might never ask for it for themselves.
Through Joy Ticket, applicants are invited to say why they want to come to the festival and choose the amount they can honestly pay for a ticket. The minimum contribution is 40 euros, but the chosen amount does not guarantee the approval of the application. What matters is the story, authenticity and sincerity behind each app.
Each story is read by a real person from the UNTOLD team. Stories are carefully considered, taking into account why the festival matters to applicants, their personal circumstances and the contribution they say they can make.
If a story impresses the UNTOLD team, the applicant can receive a free Joy Ticket, fully covered by the festival, regardless of the amount initially selected.
Joy Ticket is open to everyone who wants to get to UNTOLD, regardless of where they come from or how much they can afford. Applicants can fill out the dedicated form, tell their story or the story of the person they are nominating, and submit the contribution they feel is appropriate for their situation.
The process is simple and transparent. The applicant tells their story, chooses the contribution they can support, and the UNTOLD team reviews each application.
