With a disappointing course this season, Petrol has sunk to the bottom of the Superliga standings. The Ploieșteans distanced themselves as much as possible from the relegation places thanks to last night’s victory with FC Argeș, in the opening of the stage with number 27.
The guests opened the score at the end of the first half, first Tunisian Adel Bettaieb (38), on the counterattack, after a wrong pass by Cameroonian Danel Dongmo. Petrol managed to reverse the result in the last half hour, with the goals scored by Sergiu Hanca (65), on the back, after a ball incorrectly boxed by goalkeeper Cătălin Căbuz, at the corner executed by Valentin Gheorghe, and by Andres Dumitrescu (88), with a shot from 14 meters. For Dumitrescu, it was his first goal scored in the shirt of the team from Ploiești, writes Agerpres.

In the 86th minute, a strange phase happened, after which the guests could leave with all the points from Ploiesti. Claudiu Micovschi sent into the goal from a free kick, but the goal was canceled without a clear reason by the referee Radu Petrescu, so Petrol remains unbeaten in four stages, in which it recorded two wins and two draws (with the giants Rapid and Dinamo). “Găzarii” had managed to win the round match, 1-0, in front of the revelation of this season of the Super League.
