Sepsi OSK Sfântu Gheorghe defeated Politehnica Iași on Saturday, July 13, with a score of 1-0 (1-0), at home, in a match from the inaugural stage of the 2024-2025 Superleague football season, according to Agerpres.

The only goal of the match was scored by Cosmin Matei (23), after the goalkeeper Jesus Fernandez wrongly rejected the ball shot from a free kick by Darius Oroian.
