A song initially recorded for Tini Turner’s album, “Private Dancer”, from the 1980s, and considered lost, was rediscovered after almost four decades, CNN reports. The song, entitled “Hot for you baby”, was removed from the archives and had the premiere on Thursday, January 23, being broadcast for the first time in the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show in the UK.

“It’s like Tina Turner meets AC/DC,” said a BBC listener in the radio show.
“This discovery introduces a new chapter in the Private Dancer story,” is shown in the message posted on the youtube channel of the late singer.
Released in 1984, the album “Private Dancer” marked the return of Tu Tu Turner in the 1980s. The disc has been sold in over 20 million copies and won three Grammy awards, including for the year’s disc and the best female vocal interpretation with the song “What’s Love Got to Do With It”.
In addition to “Hot For You Baby”, the anniversary album will also include a unique recording of the song “Let’s Stay Together” made for television, as well as a mix of the hit “What’s Love Got to Do With It”.
Throughout his career over 60, Tina Turner has won eight Grammy awards and has been distinguished with stars on the Hollywood of Fame and St. Louis Walk of Fame.
Tina Turner, nicknamed “Queen Rock’n’roll”, died in May 2023, at the age of 83. In the last years of his life, the singer faced health problems, being diagnosed with intestinal cancer in 2016 and subjected to a kidney transplant in 2017.
