The character Celentano, played by Adrian Văncică in the famous Romanian series “Las Fierbinți”, sent a new manifesto message, in which he takes a stance towards Călin Georgescu, the candidate who reached the second round of the presidential elections.

He appeals to recall the authentic Romanian spirit and urges voters to go to the polls.

“2,120,404. So many people voted for Mr. Georgescu, and many of them only now realized that they went after the trap, because they did not know, for example, that he believes that man never reached the moon. Or that when you drink a juice, thousands of nano-chips enter you like in a laptop and control you I don’t know who.

Well, have I gone completely crazy? An aunt used to say: Georgescu is God’s messenger. What do we do? We are back in the Middle Ages when everyone believed that the king was placed by God or, earlier, at the pyramids, when the pharaoh was directly placed there by the Sun-God.

Hello pharaohs, what are we doing? We don’t need NATO, so he says, we’re leaving the EU, that’s it, we’re leaving Schengen, we don’t need anything anymore? Why should our boys stay with the shots through customs for days in a row, stand in queues at embassies for the bitter visa, see their relatives in Italy and Spain?

we are not like that we are not bad, we are not extremistswe are not misogynists. It’s time to show how we really are, now, in the elections and in the parliamentary elections and in the second round. I, for one, go out to vote and I don’t go after the trap”, Celentano concludes his monologue.
