The Asia Express 2024 contestants have embarked on a new adventure, this time in Malaysia. Jean from Craiova entered the competition, in the team of Nicolai Tand and Sorin Brotnei. “I don’t want to confuse them at all, but at the same time I want to have memories from here, take some pictures”Jean said.

After being saved in the previous stage, Nicolai Tand and Sorin Brotnei had to start today’s race with a “handicap”according to antenna1.
The two contestants get an unexpected surprise. Their team increased by one member: Jean de la Craiova, who appeared on a scooter, with a red suitcase and a speaker from which music could be heard. “We kind of fell off our faces”Sorin admits.
“You say he’s drinking formalin, how well Jean is doing”says Ioana.
“I don’t want to confuse them at all, but at the same time I want to have memories from here, to take some pictures”, says Jean.
“Jean is our guest and yours. He must be protected here. He is a tourist. (…) Sometimes Jean will have to take pictures because he wants to keep memories of this vacation”, says Irina.
What mission did the contestants have
“You’re going to take one of the dancers with you. That’s what every team will do.” announced Irina Fodor.
“You will have to walk the surrounding streets and find residents of the 14 provinces. Three inhabitants from different provinces. Those residents must prove their membership. (…) He must prove this to the jury, who is your dancer”, explained Irina.
The teams have a common problem: hitchhiking. Competitors have a hard time finding transport to go on the next mission.
“I can’t understand why this is happening to us”says Selina.
“I’ve never been so sweaty in my life”says Jean.
Anca and Andreea chose the joker in the domino game, but the chosen pieces already matched.
“You won a €1,000 amulet and a Joker. You girls have won Malaysia’s first Joker!” Irina informs them.
The new season of the show Asia Express, which can be watched in its entirety in AntenaPLAY, will be an exercise in life taken to the extreme, about love, about faith, about spirituality, about the power of reinvention.
