Actor Presley Chweneyagae died, who has achieved international recognition for his main role in the 2005 “Tsotsi” movie, winning the first Oscar for the best movie in a foreign language. He was only 40 years old.

“With a deep sadness we confirm the premature death of one of the most talented and beloved actors in South Africa, Presley Chweneyagae“, The Mrsa Agency said, according to ABCNews. The cause of his death has not yet been revealed.
Chweneyagae’s three -decade career has encompassed theater, television and film.
His awarded interpretation from “TSOTSI ”, Based on the novel of 1961 of the most important South African playwright, Athol Fugard, and directed by Gavin Hood, propelled in the international celebrity.
Chweneyagae was also a talented writer and director, being a co -author, together with Paul Grootboom, of the play “Relativity”, appreciated internationally.
