Elena Lasconi, the USR candidate for the 2024 presidential elections, said on Wednesday evening that Ilie Bolojan, the liberal head of the Bihor County Council, would be her choice for prime minister if she becomes president.
Elena Lasconi testified on Digi 24’s “Jurnalul de Sără” show that there are also competent people in USR, “but I will be the president who will make good decisions for Romania and for Romania’s development”.
The president of USR added that “we need professionals”.
“The man I appreciate enormously and from whom I learned a lot is Mr. Bolojan. I think that in the position of prime minister there should be a man with a lot of experience in administration and I don’t know anyone else who has more experience in administration than Mr. Bolojan”said Elena Lasconi, according to Digi 24.

The USR candidate also told “Jurnalul de Seară” that the PNL president, Nicolae Ciucă, will agree to sign an agreement with the party led by her to support her in the second round of the presidential elections if it does not pass the first round, and Elena Lasconi Yes.
