If you want to travel without spending a lot of money, a travel blogger on TikTok recommended three European cities suitable for affordable vacations.
The first recommended city is Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, which blogger emsbudgettravel says it is “perfect on the budget”.
“Accommodation is very affordable – I found an apartment overlooking the main tourist attraction of the city for 12 euros per night per person. The metro is very cheap.” she said.
Em also emphasizes the natural beauty of the area. “Yerevan is surrounded by mountains and gorgeous scenery, and day trips outside the city are cheap and easy to do.”
Poznan, Poland – less known, but just as attractive as Krakow
The second recommendation is Poznan, a less popular Polish city than Krakow or Gdansk.
“The old town is very beautiful and the food is delicious and affordable,” Em says. The blogger adds that there are many activities for visitors on a budget.
“You can visit Grădina Palmierilor or the biggest spa in the country for only 15 euros, for a three-hour subscription. I found it a very underrated city, just as beautiful as the more popular destinations, but much cheaper.” the blogger also said.
Tallinn – a fairytale medieval city
The last suggestion for a winter getaway is Tallinn, Estonia, which Em says it is “probably one of the most picturesque towns I’ve visited.”
Accommodation is affordable, with prices starting around 20 euros per person for an Airbnb in the center of the Old Town. “It’s one of the best preserved medieval towns in Europe and every street is very photogenic. It’s the perfect destination for a snowy weekend and the Christmas market is wonderful”the blogger also specifies.
