Paramount Pictures has published a spectacular video from behind the camera for the next movie in the Mission series: Impossible, and in its characteristic style, Tom Cruise appears in another amazing stunt – one in which he is hanging by the wing of a flying plane.

The new pictures in The Final Reckoning show Tom Cruise, holding the wing of a plane about 2,438 meters above the ground-without a green screen and no tricks. The actor is tied with a single safety cable, but the rest is still while the plane flys.
Director Christopher Mcquarrie explained how disturbing this experience was, mentioning that the altitude and speed made almost impossible the look around without feeling dizzy. “You can’t imagine how exhausted physical it was for Tom to be on the wing of the plane. The wind distorts your sight. It is almost impossible to breathe.”
“Tom does not do most stunts, he does them all. Our mantra has always been that all the stunts are real. When you teach a trick to a stuntman, the moment is no longer with the character, but only the stunt. Tom and MCQ know that those moments will become much stronger if the actor is in danger, because the character remains.”said actor Simon Pegg for Collider.
Although the details about the intrigue are kept secrets, the official synopsis sound as follows: “Our lives are the sum of our choices. Tom Cruise is Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning”. With McQuarrie co-scripting with Erik Jendresen and producing the film with Cruise, all signs indicate a closing full of action and emotion, and probably hide another stunt where Cruise will jump forward in the middle of the earth, notes Collider.
Along with Cruise and Pegg, in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning plays Hayley Atwell in the role of Grace, Ving Rhames in the role of Luther Stickell, Vanessa Kirby in the role of Alanna Mitsopolis aka the White Widow, Esai Morales in the role Czerny in the role of Eugene Kittridge, Holt Mccallany in the role of Bernstein, and Nick Offman in the role of Sydney. Also, Janet McTeer, Hannah Waddingham, Angela Bassett, Shea Whatam, Greg Tarzan Davis, Charles Parnell and Frederick Schmidt will appear.
Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning will arrive in theaters in July 2025.
