And the clip posted by the Brit on YouTube has already garnered more than 13,000 views and more than 100 comments on his channel, titled “Jon Does Travel”.

The tourist from Great Britain made a tour of Europe by train and arrived in Bucharest from Budapest, then left, also by train, to the Republic of Moldova.

Jon spent two days in Bucharest, and the capital of Romania left him with very good impressions.

“I found accommodation for one night in Bucharest, close to the center, for only 18 euros, that’s right, with a shared bathroom. I had a very small towel, a small room, but overall it was ok. Bucharest surprised me in the most pleasant way. It was an unforgettable experience to walk in Izvor Park before seeing the Palace of Parliament, the second largest building in the world after the Pentagon. I also had the chance to catch some good weather. Bucharest is definitely one of the most beautiful capitals in Europe, I also noticed the large number of beautiful parks. On certain main streets there was a bit of traffic chaos, but there is traffic chaos in many European cities. Bucharest is definitely a Paris of the East in terms of charm”said the British tourist.

Another surprise for him was represented by the large number of cafes in Bucharest.

“I couldn’t believe how many cafes I saw in Bucharest, and the prices are much lower compared to Great Britain. At one point, in a cafe, I entered into a conversation with two Romanian women and we talked for almost an hour about the history of Romania and the countries beyond the former Iron Curtain. During the short time I spent in Bucharest, I also noticed some old buildings that had a Soviet air. Overall, I was delighted with Bucharest’s architecture. I want to come back to Romania, including Bucharest, but to visit other cities in this lovely country in the future”says Jon.
