A few months after her split from Ben Affleck, the star posed in a provocative leopard print outfit for the cover of Interview magazine. She spoke about the life lessons she has learned over time, reports the Daily Mail.

She later recalled seeing the social media firestorm and “painful” comments blaming her for their split. “I know that everything that is written and said about me is not true. I learned that a long time ago,’” she said in the interview, which was conducted with Glaser in September.

JLo was asked if the breakup was hard, she replied:

“It was bloody hard! It’s a feeling of loneliness, of the unknown, of fear. There is sadness. There is despair. But when you sit with these emotions and say to yourself: . ..Being in a relationship does not define me. I can’t look for happiness in other people. I must have happiness in me. I think that’s what I like about life, that there is no end point”said the star.

Lopez filed for divorce in August, citing irreconcilable differences and citing April 26 as the official separation date.

The star also said that she is not looking for another relationship.

“Yes, I’m not looking for anyone, because everything I’ve experienced in the last 25-30 years, going through various difficult situations, makes me wonder what I can do when it’s just me, flying alone… What if am I simply free?”, Jennifer Lopez said.
