Influencer and singer María de la Rosa, known as De la Rosa, died Saturday at the age of 22 during a shootout in the Northridge neighborhood, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) said, citing witnesses, that several people were in a parked vehicle when two men approached and started shooting.
De la Rosa was transported to the hospital, but she could not be saved
No information is known about the perpetrators of the shootings, according to the cited source.
According to TMZ, two other people in the car are in critical condition.
The Los Angeles Times also writes that De la Rosa had released her first single in August, “Don’t call me” (“Don’t call me“).
In his latest Instagram post, where he has more than 41,500 followers, De la Rosa appears with a guitar in a recording studio, with the comment “busy with preparation in the studio”, hinting that a new track is coming.
In a message in Spanish, Times producer and sound engineer J Martinez wrote that the artist was a young and talented musician.
