Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu answered journalists’ questions on Saturday, after announcing his candidacy for Cotroceni, about the use of vitamins and supplements to maintain his energy level.
Answering a journalist’s question, Marcel Ciolacu even mentioned the name of a drug prescribed to combat fatigue, expressing his hope that the statement would not be interpreted as an advertisement.
“Where do you get so much energy because you haven’t taken any time off?“, asked the journalist.
“Ehh, here is a more complicated question, but I find… Vitamin D, you saw that I stopped at the pharmacy, Tonotil, Magne B6… That’s it, I hope it’s not an advertisement. Oh, and I have a new one now, the ones with ginseng. For three days“, stated Marcel Ciolacu.
“If those two are archangels, who are you?asked another journalist.

The PSD president submitted his candidacy to the BEC
Marcel Ciolacu officially submitted his candidacy for the position of president of Romania on Saturday. The PSD president officially registered his candidacy for the presidential elections, presenting a file containing 1.7 million signatures of support.
The PSD leader was accompanied to the Central Electoral Office by colleagues from the party’s central and territorial leadership, among them Lia Olguţa Vasilescu, Constantin Rădulescu, Mihai Tudose
He stated that he enters this competition with a “plan for Romania, a political creed and a moral commitment“, emphasizing that the president “must give explanations” for his actions and their results.
“I want to remind you that in the last 20 years we have had 17 governments, this was the approach of the former presidents. In order to be able to preserve their power and exercise greater power, they preferred this to the detriment of Romania and the Romanians”added Marcel Ciolacu.
Saturday is the deadline for submitting candidacies for the presidential elections.
