The MEP announced that he will ask George Simion for material damages, and he will donate all the money he will get in court to restore the houses of the victims in Galati County, which was severely affected by the floods.
“George Simion, candidate for the Presidency of Romania, instead of helping the people who were so seriously affected by the floods in Galati, decided to come up with a whole series of lies. For this, for the lies he told about me, I decided to sue him and all the money I get in court I will make available to the Red Cross or to those who deal with the reconstruction of the houses of the who were affected by the floods in Galaţi, because lying must have a price. I didn’t have, I don’t have dikes, ponds, fishponds, dams, and George Simion must pay for these lies, because a lie must have a price. George Simion will pay the price”declared PSD MEP from Galati, Dan Nica.
The flood of September 13/14 wreaked havoc in Galati County. The torrents of water devastated 28 localities, thousands of people were left without homes, the roads look like after the bombing, bridges are destroyed, schools and kindergartens were closed.
