The wait is over. The president of the Senate and the leader of the PNL, Nicolae Ciucă, will launch his long-awaited book, entitled “In the service of the country”, on Sunday in the show “Poetry and delicacies” with Mircea Dinescu.

“Patience takes you to the gate of Heaven. Humility gets you into it”said Nicolae Ciucă in the teaser presented by Prima TV.
The show can be seen on Sunday, from 14.00, on Prima TV.
Nicolae Ciucă also explained, in a post on Facebook, the reason why he chose the launch to take place at Cetate.
Tomorrow, from 14:00, I invite you to join me on Prima TV, together with Mircea Dinescu, where I will present the book «In the service of the Country». I chose this moment to take place, symbolically, at the Citadel, close to the places of my childhood, to which I have dedicated many pages.
A warm and open discussion awaits you – especially about the first half of the book, in the pages of which I talk about my life experience. Both personal and professional, those moments and experiences shaped my character, defined my principles and taught me what my true mission is: to serve my country with devotion, honor and faith.

Replies between Ciolacu and Ciucă
The release of the book was postponed twice. Initially, the leader of the National Liberal Party said in May that “In the Service of the Country” would be published in June. Later, in July, he stated that the launch will take place in August.
In addition, Marcel Ciolacu, president of PSD and prime minister, also released some ironies in the public space regarding the book written by Nicolae Ciucă.
After the appearance of a Snoop investigation, which revealed the fact that PNL spent two million euros to promote the volume, Ciolacu was asked, during a press conference, about the money that the liberal political formation paid him from public funds for book promotion campaign.
“I understood that they were used (the funds) to launch a book. It will be a bestseller, I am convinced, especially if we take into account the promotion it had“, said the PSD president.
Afterwards, the string of arrows between the two leaders continued. In a post on Facebook, Marcel Ciolacu recommended to Ciucă “to write more in the famous book and less on social networks“. Otherwise, the PNL leader could have “more billboards than pages”.
However, Nicolae Ciucă wanted to reassure Ciolacu, saying on Facebook that he “vto have a dedicated copy”.
Recently, the president of the Senate said that the first part of the book presents his life, starting from his childhood to the military high school, then his professional path.
