Since 2020, Sabrina Ionescu plays for the New York Liberty team in the WNBA, and in 2021 she became the youngest player in the history of the North American championship to achieve a triple-double, a term in basketball that denotes at least 10 decisive assists, 10 rebounds and all so many successful points in one game. Currently, Sabrina has reached no less than 4,472 points scored for the New York Liberty.
Sabrina is the first player in WNBA history to reach over 500 points, over 200 rebounds and over 200 assists in a single season.

Sabrina Ionescu was born in California, in the United States, on December 6, 1997, exactly the year New York Liberty, the team she plays for now, was founded. His father, Dan Ionescu, left Romania during the Revolution of December 1989, in search of a better life across the ocean.
