The Romanian national team had a special moment in Zenica, one day before tonight’s match. After the official training on Friday evening, a group of Romanian soldiers from the EUFOR Althea operation, stationed at the Butmir military base in Sarajevo, visited the tricolors to convey their unconditional support, according to FRF.
The soldiers, on an international mission, wanted to be close to the team and remind them that the Romanians outside the borders live with them every match and emotion.
