Tommy Shelby returns to the streets, BTS returns to the stage, and dinosaurs return to life. This is how the offer of Netflix 2026 movies and series that you can watch in March can be summarized.
March is the month of comebacks on Netflix, whether we’re talking about old series returning with new seasons, household names launching new productions, exiled gangsters reentering the game, superstar K-pop bands making a comeback, or dinosaurs returning from extinction.
What is the climax? It depends on your age. For the Alpha and Z generations, the live concert of the revitalized Korean band BTS is probably the event of the year. Millennials? Probably the long-awaited Peaky Blinders movie. Boomers? A new season of Virgin River is out — not to mention a huge age gap dating show that pits sixtysomethings against twentysomethings.
Here are the 10 must-see movies, series and live events this month.

The Dinosaurs
Steven Spielberg and dinosaurs go together as well as Jeff Goldblum and sexy unbuttoned shirts. Spielberg executive produces this four-episode computer-animated docuseries that imagines the sheer horror of living in the Mesozoic Era, with Morgan Freeman as narrator—after all, it’s only fitting that God would comment on his own creations.
Premiere: March 6
War Machine
US Army Rangers on a training exercise discover an alien killing machine in this action thriller that feels like a cross between Predator and Transformers, with Reacher’s Alan Ritchson in a next-generation Arnie-like role, leading the fight against an otherworldly enemy.
Premiere: March 6
One Piece – Season 2
A rare live-action adaptation of a manga that actually works, the first season of this pirate adventure series was praised for its ability to capture the energy and visuals of the original comic. In Season 2, the journey continues as the Straw Hat Pirates search for mythical treasure and the elusive title of Pirate King.
Premiere: March 10
Age of Attraction
Love is blind, but is it also age discriminating? In Netflix’s newest dating experiment, attractive singles, from college students to retirees, are set to socialize without knowing exactly how many candles are on each other’s birthday cake. It was only a matter of time before someone turned 30 Rock’s MILF Island into an actual show.
Premiere: March 11
Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere
British documentarian Louis Theroux sacrifices his sanity in the name of journalism by spending more time than is healthy with Andrew Tate impersonators whose influence on young men is unfortunately too strong to ignore.
Premiere: March 11
Virgin River – Season 7
Wine-loving moms, rejoice: your favorite quiet-town romantic drama is back! Mel and Jack are now married, which means the next logical step in the story: becoming parents. But no promises.
Premiere: March 12
The Plastic Detox
Microplastics are everywhere. Really everywhere. That probably can’t be a good thing. In this documentary, Louie Psihoyos, Oscar-winning director of The Cove, explores their possible effects, particularly in relation to declining global fertility rates.
Premiere: March 16
Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man
Four years after the end of Stephen Knight’s classic crime saga, Cillian Murphy returns to his famous gangster hat as the ice-cold Tommy Shelby in a feature-length epilogue. The action takes place during the Second World War and several major actors from the series return, including Stephen Graham, Sophie Rundle and Ned Dennehy. The cast is rounded out by Barry Keoghan, Rebecca Ferguson and Tim Roth.
Premiere: March 20
BTS: The Comeback Live
What’s the biggest live Netflix event of the month: Major League Baseball’s opening day or a live concert by Korea’s biggest pop group? Hint: it’s not the guys with the clubs. After an 18-month hiatus for their country’s mandatory military service, K-pop giants BTS are returning to the stage to promote their upcoming album, Arirang. A companion documentary, BTS: The Return, will also be released on March 27.
Broadcast: March 21
Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen
Two months after the finale of Stranger Things, the Duffer brothers are back—this time as producers—with this horror series about an engaged couple who run into some serious obstacles on their way down the aisle. The question is: will the series be good or very… not so good?
