The engineer prepared a monk fish with spinach and saffron corn sauce. With this dish he managed to delight the taste buds of the chefs. “It’s my favorite food,” he said.
“If, so far, the corn has caught the fish, the fish has caught the corn”said Cătălin Scarlătescu.
The 54-year-old competitor, who lives in Cluj, said about the kitchen that it is the place where he forgets all his problems and that allows him to experience everything he wants from a gastronomic point of view. “It relaxes me a lot. She’s really nice“, he confessed.
“If I had tasted it with my eyes closed, I would have thought it was a professional chef behind it, and I’m glad you manage to leave the weights behind and be creative. His preparation was to the liking of the three chefs. “The fish is cooked perfectly. I love the combination of fish and spinach. A big yes from me too“, Sorin Bontea also said.
The engineer seriously learned to cook some time ago, after he divorced his ex-wife and had to take care of his children.
