James Stephen Donaldson, known as MrBeast on YouTube, announced in a podcast that he managed to rent the three pyramids in Egypt for 100 hours, against the colossal sum of 5 million dollars.
Surprisingly, the Egyptian government rents out the famous pyramids of Giza for various events, subject to certain conditions, including obtaining approvals from Egypt’s Ministry of Antiquities and the Supreme Council of Antiquities.
“I rented all three pyramids of Egypt for 100 hours. I’ll make a clip and they’ll let me explore anywhere I want inside the pyramids for 100 hours! We will sleep at the pyramids”, the 26-year-old YouTuber recounted in a podcast.
He says he has received all the necessary approvals from the Egyptian government and, in addition, he has also received permission to explore and film in certain areas inside the pyramids that are not accessible to the general public. Throughout this new adventure, he will be accompanied by a tourist guide.
“I’ve never been inside them. I want to uncover secrets and go through all the rooms and tombs. I’m so excited because there are also secret corridors deep underground. I don’t know what to expect,”
the vlogger added.
We remind you that this summer the famous YouTube content creator MrBeast spent a night in Turda’s Salina. During the seven days spent here, she made a video, which soon became viral, in which she presented to the general public the beauty of the salt pan, but also the hospitality of the Romanians.
As for his new project, there are also comments on social media from those who do not agree with his latest endeavor and say that they hope that MrBeast is “touched by an ancient Egyptian curse”.
