The lifeless body of a 23-year-old man was found at the exit from Vaslui towards Bârlad. It was seen by drivers passing through the area, who alerted the police. The young man lay lifeless, covered in mud, on the side of the road.

The police managed to identify the victim. Vladimir, the deceased young man, comes from a good family in Vaslui. His father is a former firefighter, and his mother, a well-known clerk, according to Vremea Nouă publication.
The young man was found dead on Saturday, December 28, on the side of the road, at the exit from Vaslui towards Bârlad. He was right outside the gate of a villa, dressed scantily in a t-shirt, black jeans and a muddy jacket. He was discovered by drivers in traffic and only had a small wound near his hip.
Investigators are yet to establish the circumstances under which the young man died, who, the night before, had spent time in a club near the place where he was found dead.
The body was transported to the Vaslui County Forensic Service, in order to carry out the medico-legal autopsy and establish the cause of death
“Today, December 28, 2024, at 1:10 p.m., the Vaslui County Police Inspectorate was notified, by calling SNUAU 112, regarding the fact that, in the town of Muntenii de Jos, near the national road DN 24, the lifeless body of to a young man. The body was transported to the Vaslui County Forensic Service, in order to carry out the medico-legal autopsy and establish the cause of death“, IPJ Vaslui representatives sent.
In the case, a criminal case was drawn up under the aspect of committing the crime of manslaughter. Investigations are being carried out in order to accurately establish the circumstances of the death of the 23-year-old and to order legal measures.
Law enforcement officers do not exclude the hypothesis of a crime. Specialists must determine whether or not it is a case of murder.
