According to event organizers, many lovers want, in 2024, to organize their wedding outdoors. Thus, their ideas seem inspired by movies, experts in the field claim.
“The year 2024, like every year, comes with certain challenges. These are represented by the wishes of the bride and groom, which align with the new trends. In 2024 we have a lot of requests for outdoor weddings and we have to comply. Brides and grooms imagine parties like in the movies, in an elegant and beautiful setting. They began to no longer want classic parties, with all the traditions. Opt for simplicity, for elegance, for an airy place where all the guests can feel comfortable“, stated Maria Gal, event organizer.
Weddings with many guests, on the way to extinction
In 2024, more intimate parties with fewer guests will be very common, organizers claim. Many brides and grooms choose to have a smaller party, where only close people can participate.
“Considering that it is the most important party in a couple's life, they cannot miss the very close people. More and more brides and grooms have started to reduce the number of guests, they want more intimate parties, with those close to them. Weddings with a maximum of a hundred people are in fashion, which are easier to manage and organize. We can't say that the well-known parties with hundreds of people still don't exist, but they have started to be rarer. Young people, in general, invite only close people to the party, and I have noticed this in the last two or three years“, added the event organizer.
The new fashion, dictated by the pandemic
According to the organizers, the Covid19 pandemic had a very important role in changing trends. Thus, people saw that smaller weddings can be organized in the open air, during the period in which they were constrained by the restrictions imposed by the authorities.
“This fashion started during the pandemic or immediately after. People attended smaller parties, even outdoors. They felt good, they liked it and took those parties as a model. At the same time, many of them are now also opting for a day wedding, which was seen as a real sacrifice before the pandemic. Now these things are the norm”concluded Andreea Gal.
