What amounts of money will the students with 10 in the Baccalaureate and the National Assessment receive

Eighth grade graduates who obtained an average of 10 in the National Assessment and high school graduates with an average of 10 in the Baccalaureate will benefit from financial incentives, according to a decision approved in Wednesday’s Government meeting.

“In order to reward and encourage school performance, the Government has decided that this year too the young people who obtained a grade 10 in the secondary and high school graduation exams should receive a financial prize. Thus, 74 8th grade graduates who obtained an average of 10 in the National Assessment in the 2024 session will each receive 2,000 lei. Also, 80 Baccalaureate graduates who obtained an average of 10 in the national Baccalaureate exam in the June-July 2024 session will each receive 5,000 lei”, announced the spokesperson of the Government, Mihai Constantin.

According to the quoted source, the project involves a financing of 548,000 lei, allocated from the budget of the Ministry of Education for the current year.

The list of beneficiaries and the effective method of granting the financial incentives will be approved later, by order of the Minister of Education.
