What fasting food does Anca Țurcașiu cook when she misses her childhood: “My grandmother used to make it and I really miss it”

Anca Țurcașiu showed her fans, on social networks, how she prepares one of her favorite dishes from her childhood, a simple, fasting recipe that brings back memories of her grandmother.

Anca Țurcașiu shared a personal moment with her followers, turning a banal recipe into a true story about childhood, longing and family. The artist published on social networks a video in which she cooks pea food, a dish she associates with her childhood and her grandmother.

“Hello. Today I’m going to cook my favorite food. Pea food. I’ve been eating peas and skewers since I was little. My grandmother used to make them and I miss them so much. Peas, dill, an onion and chopped tomatoes. That’s all we need. Let’s see.” the star sent on Instagram.

A simple recipe, ideal for the fasting period

The preparation chosen by Anca Țurcașiu is one that is as suitable as possible for this period, being a fasting food, without ingredients of animal origin, but rich in taste and flavor.

The artist demonstrated, step by step, how easy this recipe can be prepared: the onion is finely chopped and lightly sauteed, then the peas and a little water are added. Afterwards, the broth is incorporated, and the mixture is allowed to boil until the flavors meld.

At the end, fresh dill, finely chopped, gives the dish an authentic and fresh note, specific to home cooking. The result is a simple yet comforting meal perfect for Lent meals.

One of the most beloved and, at the same time, modest stars in Romania, Anca Țurcașiu was born on May 8, 1970, in Bucharest, and discovered her artistic talent since she was a teenager. At only 14 years old, he appeared in the film “For your sake, Anca”, marking the beginning of a complex career. Her path continued in music, where she made her debut in 1986 at the Amara Youth Trophy Festival, winning the first prize. In the same year, she was noticed at the Mamaia Festival, where she received a mention for her performances, notes Click!.

Over time, the artist collaborated with important names of Romanian music, such as Marius Țeicu, Marcel Dragomir or Jolt Kerestely.

In addition to music, theater remained a constant in his life. After training with the actor Petre Gheorghiu, Anca Țurcașiu attended the Academy of Theater and Film in Târgu Mureș, which she graduated in 1994.

She became, in parallel, a well-known figure on the small screen, presenting shows such as “Sunday Shop” or “Music for all” and being co-presenter of the show “Ba da, ba nu”, alongside Mihai Constantinescu. He played in films such as “Miss Litoral” and went on the stage of the “Constantin Tănase” Theater in the show “Are tata fată mare”, directed by Ion Lucian.

Currently, the artist remains active both on stage and in the relationship with her audience in the online environment, where she manages to combine artistic moments with personal ones.
