The consultation publication of the high school admission methodology is a first, as is the case with the National Assessment and Baccalaureate methodologies. As a rule, these were subject to the approval of unions and parents’ associations and published directly in the Official Gazette. Through this public consultation, the institution takes a step towards the transparency of the exam rules.
“On May 12, 2025, the brochure containing the admission information should be printed; posting brochures on the websites of school inspectorates – according to the draft order put up for debate. Between May 20 and June 13, 2025, there will be training sessions/actions with parents and students to present the admission procedures and the schooling plan, organized at the educational unit or through electronic means of communication (telephone, e-mail, online video conference line etc.), according to the calendar”writes edupedu.ro.
On July 11, 2025, the hierarchy at the county/municipality level of the eighth grade graduates will be announced.
On July 14 – 21, 2025, the options in the registration forms will be completed by the eighth grade graduates and their parents, assisted by the eighth grade directors.
And on July 23, 2025, there will be the computerized distribution of the 8th grade graduates in high school education and also then the communication of the results and the display in the secondary education units of the list of unoccupied places in the high school education units of the county/municipality of Bucharest.
