The new aspect ratio of the cover screen on the Z Fold6 provides a more intuitive bar-like viewing experience and improved grip when folded.

With the new Samsung Galaxy Z series of phones, superlatives are a constant in every specification.
It’s the most durable Z series yet, with a Dual Rail hinge and reinforced folding edge for greater resistance to physical impact, while reinforced layers on the main screen help improve folding. And also the durability of the new series is essentially contributed to by the Armor aluminum frame and Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® 2 glass.
And the performance in use is also top notch. The Snapdragon® 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform for Galaxy offers best-in-class CPU, GPU and NPU performance, optimized for AI processing and overall performance improvements.
Another essential detail. The vapor is 1.6x higher for the Z Fold6, while the Z Flip6 has the first vapor chamber for optimal cooling and sustained performance, with extended battery life for long and enjoyable all-day use.
Sustainability, essential for Samsung
The new Galaxy Z series contains a wider range of recycled materials, including recycled glass, aluminium, plastic, cobalt and more. For the first time, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 have components that incorporate recycled gold and copper. To do more with less, Samsung has not only rethought the way the product itself is designed, but also the way it is packaged.
The Galaxy Z series uses recycled glass, aluminium, plastic and cobalt, and the packaging is made from 100% recycled paper. Samsung also promises seven generations of OS upgrades and security updates, ensuring long-term use and low environmental impact.
New AI functions, integrated even deeper into the operating system
In close collaboration with Google, Circle to Search offers a new way to search, providing results with the help of AI.
Thanks to the optimization of the unique dual-screen design, Interpreter comes with a new conversation mode that allows both parties to view translations in an accessible way, both on the main screen and on the front screen for more natural interactions. At the same time, Interpreter offers one-way translation, so you can easily understand what is being discussed, for example, during courses or other types of presentations. Live Translate, which translates phone calls directly on the device in real time, now extends beyond Samsung’s own native calling app to several popular third-party apps.
AI has a strong imprint on creativity as well. The AI-powered ProVisual Engine completes the camera experience from capture to editing and viewing, while AI-powered Photo Assist can enhance any image.
And this is not all. Portrait Studio generates various styles of portrait photography, such as cartoon or watercolor.

On the Galaxy Z Flip6, the new FlexCam uses AI to automatically find the best frame for photos, detecting the subject and zooming in/out before making any adjustments. In addition, the AI-based ProVisual engine leverages the new 50MP wide sensor and 12MP ultra-wide sensor, supported by Super HDR to capture perfect photos in all conditions. The new 50MP sensor supports 2x optical zoom for noise-free photos. Nightography ensures a clear image even in low light conditions, now available in the Instagram Story app to take photos and post them directly from the app.
To paraphrase a famous line by Humphrey Bogart from Casablanca, probably everyone present at Galaxy Unpacked will be able to say years from now: “We’ll always have Paris”. Because in Paris, thanks to the new Galaxy Z series of phones, a new era in mobile, AI and sustainability has begun.
