According to the structure of the 2024-2025 school year, on Saturday, December 21, students will enter the winter vacation. Children will return to classes on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

The school calendar approved by the Ministry of Education is divided into five course modules and five vacation periods.
When winter break starts
The first vacation of the current school year was in October, between October 26 and November 3, in the I course module. Next is the winter break or Christmas break as it is also called, which will start from Saturday 21st December 2024 and last until and including Tuesday 7th January. On Wednesday, January 8, 2025, students will resume classes.
Ski holiday 2025
The third mode of courses will take place between January 8 and February 7, 2025, respectively February 14 and February 21. The third holiday of the 2024-2025 school year is the ski holiday. The mobile vacation or ski vacation, as it was called, will last for one week between February 10 and March 2, 2025 and will be determined by the decision of the school/county/municipality inspectorates of Bucharest.
Module IV of the courses will take place between February 17, 2025, respectively February 24, 2025 or March 3, 2025, at the decision of the school/county/municipality inspectorates of Bucharest and will take place, as the case may be, until Thursday, April 17. The fourth holiday in the school structure will start on Friday, April 18, 2025 and will last until Sunday, April 27, 2025.
Module V of courses takes place between April 28, 2025 and June 20, 2025, after which the long vacation follows. The 2025 summer vacation is also the last vacation period of the 2024-2025 school year, and will run from Saturday, June 21, 2025 to Sunday, September 7, 2025.
