Polish Tatra and Podhale mountains – atmosphere and a full range of attractions
The first proposal is one of the most popular destinations chosen by enthusiasts of the Podhale climate region. In addition to the charm of many ski resorts, here you can discover monuments of popular culture, places imbued with the spirit of famous artists: Witkacy or Hasior. Skiers can enjoy the complex in Białka Tatrzańska, which consists of the following stations: Białka Tatrzańska: Bania (nearby there are also Bania thermal baths, ideal for relaxing after skiing), Kaniówka and Kotelnica (the largest in Podhale). The latter boasts two slopes with FIS approval of the International Ski Federation. For fans of skiing and admiring beautiful landscapes, there are special tracks, and for children and beginners – simpler routes. The total length of all of them is 14 km.
You can also visit another ski town near Zakopane, namely Bukowina Tatrzańska, with up to 30 ski lifts and spas in Bucovina, as well as Tatranská Lomnica, with slopes ideal for beginners as well as challenging ones for advanced skiers.
For advanced skiers who want to feel the alpine climate, there are also the already iconic trails on Kasprowy Wierch, where temperatures are much lower due to the altitude and conditions are often difficult. The slope is already legendary, so if you're vacationing nearby, it's worth trying at least once.
Beskid Sądecki and Jaworzyna Krynicka (Poland)
If you choose Krynica-Zdrój as your base, you have the cable car – the longest and most modern line in Poland – to Jaworzyna Krynicka. Here you can not only admire the views, but also use the perfectly prepared ski slopes (including a ski slope). Night skiing lovers can enjoy the longest illuminated slope in the country – “Fisowska Jedynka”, which is 2.6 km long. In addition, there are beginner slopes (known as family slopes), giant slopes and the FIS approved V route. Orlickie Mountains and Bystrzyckie Mountains – Zieleniec in Kotlina Kłodzka (Poland)
One of the largest and most modern ski resorts in all of Poland. It does not disappoint even when the winter is not kind to the athletes (150 days of snow a year). There is a wide variety of slopes with a total length of 22 km. There are no less than 24 lifts for children, beginners, intermediates and those looking for a challenge. Austria – Saalbach-Hinterglemm
A unique ski resort surrounded by a tunnel and a car-free zone for lovers of peace and quiet. The Alpine Skiing World Championships were held here in 1991. Today, skiers of all levels can enjoy dozens of ski lifts and almost 300 km of pistes located at an altitude between 840 and 2096 m. You don't have to worry about regarding transport, as free ski buses depart from resort towns.

Switzerland and France – Portes du Soleil luxury resort
The largest ski region in the world, with the magical name of the Gate of the Sun, brings together 14 resorts in France and Switzerland. In addition to perfectly prepared slopes, excellent infrastructure and attractions have been taken care of here (including thermal baths, atmospheric restaurants and a gourmet card that combines sports and culinary tourism, 300 km of hiking trails, paragliding, ice slopes). Austria – Brixen im Thale
Austria's largest ski resort, SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental, which has prepared for athletes more than 90 cable cars and ski lifts and 250 km of slopes. It consists of 14 resorts in the Kitzbühel Alps. It is suitable for families with children, for those who enjoy recreational trails and for experienced skiers who expect a higher degree of difficulty and competition slopes.
