In the motion with which the current president of the Social Democratic Party will appear before the members of the formation, there is a team composed of 21 people who would occupy the following positions: a president, a general secretary, two first vice-presidents, a president of the National Council, eight regional vice-presidents and eight vice-presidents by fields of activity.

After losing the race for the Capital City Hall, Gabriela Firea would also be without the position of first vice-president of the PSD. The new first vice-president of PSD would be Daniel Băluță, the mayor of Sector 4. However, Firea would remain at the helm of PSD Bucharest.

In the same vein, alongside Daniel Băluță, the first vice-president would remain the Minister of Transport, Sorin Grindeanu.

Vasile Dâncu would be removed from the position of president of the formation’s National Council, and MEP Mihai Tudose would be appointed in his place.

There would be no changes to the post of general secretary of the PSD, which means that Paul Stănescu will keep his position.

At the helm of the women’s organization, Simona-Bucura Oprescu, Minister of Labor, would be appointed. The position in question is currently occupied by Doina Federovici.

Rareș Hopincă, the mayor of Sector 2, and Gheorghe Șoldan, the PSD representative who won the elections for the Suceava County Council, would be the next vice-presidents.
