Why Călin Georgescu “refused” to participate in the inauguration of Donald Trump and how much an invitation costs. “I wish to present myself there in an official capacity”

The controversial Călin Georgescu continues to claim that he was asked by Donald Trump’s staff if he wanted to participate in his inauguration ceremony on January 20 and explains why he refused the invitation.

“Mr. Trump and Mr. Musk’s team asked me if I wanted an invitation (to Donald Trump’s inauguration) and I declined because I wanted to be there in an official capacity,” said Călin Georgescu on Friday.

In the same context of the statements related to his participation in the inauguration of Donald Trump, after the Romanian ambassador to the United States of America, Andrei Muraru, contradicted him, saying that there is no invitation in the name of Călin Georgescu, the sovereignist candidate launched a series of threats to him, but also to other officials, including the former American ambassador to Romania Adrian Zuckerman.

“Look how things are by the way, what I saw today. I have a very elegant message, I say, both for the Muraru brothers, that there is one in Iași and one in Washington, temporarily while he is still there, and to Hellvig and to the former American ambassador here, Zuckerman. And to the former vaccinist who today is the director of the SRI hospital.

I say this, that it would be good to stop any kind of attack that they make on Romania’s democracy and the interest of the Romanian people, the interest in dignity and honor, because there may be consequences. On behalf of the Romanian people, I see that many of their colleagues are telling us, and we understand all this evil”, threatened Călin Georgescu.

Beyond the explanations given by Călin Georgescu regarding his participation in Donald Trump’s inauguration as president, the truth is that an invitation to the ceremony at the White House, which will take place on January 20, is extremely expensive.

Antena 3 has inventoried the prices for tickets to the events accompanying Donald Trump’s inauguration, sold by the Inauguration Committee, and these start from 50,000 and reach up to 1 million dollars, depending on how many days they stay in Washington and what events want guests to attend.
