The Android 16 update, although it brings many important changes, has also come up with problems that affect the experience of Pixel phone users. One bug causes the return gesture to become non -functional, and another temporarily blocks the three -key navigation buttons, which causes frustration among users.

Ever since they updated their Pixel phones at Android 16, several owners have noticed that the gesture to go back are randomly stuck and no longer responds. Artem Russansakovskii, the co-founder of the Android Police site, posted on the X platform (former Twitter) a video recording that clearly shows this problem in action.

On Reddit, Pixel users also complain that three -key navigation buttons are no longer working. Both problems affect all Pixel models, including the Pixel 8 and Pixel series 9. A frustrated user writes: “The buttons are completely non -functional or delays appear over 30 seconds. My 8 Pro phone has become almost unusable. Sometimes the buttons work well for 30 minutes then the problem reappears for no apparent reason

Temporary solutions until the official repair

Rebooting the phone seems to solve the problem only temporarily. The bug is more pronounced when a third party is used. Therefore, a variant is to return to the Standard Pixel launcher and check if the problem disappears. If you are already using the Stock Launcher, you can try to delete its data to see if it helps, reports Android Police.

Some users say they have not encountered these problems on the Android 16 QPR1 Beta 2. So if you bother the bug, you can try to install this beta version and check if the problem persists. As the last solution, a factory reset can be done, although this option is more complicated and involves loss of data.

Mixed opinions appear on the Reddit Forum, which suggests that the bug does not generally affect all Pixel users. However, because the problem affects the basic functions of the Android system and is very frustrating when it appears, Google remains to be remedied as soon as possible.
