Temporary solutions until the official repair
Rebooting the phone seems to solve the problem only temporarily. The bug is more pronounced when a third party is used. Therefore, a variant is to return to the Standard Pixel launcher and check if the problem disappears. If you are already using the Stock Launcher, you can try to delete its data to see if it helps, reports Android Police.
Some users say they have not encountered these problems on the Android 16 QPR1 Beta 2. So if you bother the bug, you can try to install this beta version and check if the problem persists. As the last solution, a factory reset can be done, although this option is more complicated and involves loss of data.
Mixed opinions appear on the Reddit Forum, which suggests that the bug does not generally affect all Pixel users. However, because the problem affects the basic functions of the Android system and is very frustrating when it appears, Google remains to be remedied as soon as possible.
