“It is not goodbye, It is Rock It Later” offers the public from the three cities the opportunity to contribute to the increase of sustainable recycling and reuse. The pairs of jeans forgotten in a drawer, the shirt with the favorite band or the rain pilgrim from the first Electric Castle editions – all can receive a new life in the campaign that runs from March 17 to April 13.
Campaign dedicated to responsible consumption and creative reuse of clothes
Thus, between 17 and 30 March, the clothes will be able to be brought to the Promenada Mall in Bucharest, between March 31 and April 6, the collection takes place in City Park Constanța, and from April 7 on April 13 donations can be made in the specially arranged space in the Promenada Mall Sibiu. Any types of clothes can be donated, as long as they are clean, regardless of material or degree of wear, except for underwear and footwear.
This year, recycling takes a new direction. If a collection of clothes was created last year, this year will be created interior design objects, such as blankets, lamps, pillows, carpets, chairs, etc. The new decorative parts will be donated to the World Vision living centers, not before, however, to be admired, in May, in a special exhibition at Romanian Design Week and in an area specially arranged in Electric Castle 2025.
