Zinedine Zidane, who has not coached anyone since the summer of 2021 after parting ways with Real Madrid, is ready to return to football. The 51-year-old Frenchman would have reached an agreement with Bayern Munich and will take over the Bavarian group in the summer, claims Mundo Deportivo.

According to the Iberian daily, Zinedine Zidane is expected to sign the contract. The French would have asked the team to seriously strengthen the squad, especially in the defensive department. Bayern Munich, newly qualified for the semi-finals of the Champions League, where they will meet Real Madrid, will part with Thomas Tuchel at the end of the season.
Xabi Alonso and Nagelsmann refused the Bavarian group
The main target of the Bavarians was Xabi Alonso, but the Iberian decided to continue at Bayer Leverkusen. The management of the Bavarians then shifted to Julian Nagelsmann, but the former coach of the Munich group has just extended his contract with the German Federation and will remain in charge of the national team.
