During its 35 years of existence, Litera Publishing House has managed to bring thousands of titles from the most varied fields to the libraries of Romanians, covering the entire editorial offer of fiction and non-fiction: premium collections of foreign and Romanian literature, anthologies, books of history, art and architecture, essays, encyclopedias, atlases, dictionaries, children's books, general culture books, popularizing science, travel, parenting and leisure. The novelties of Litera Publishing House at this year's Bookfest edition stand under the sign of reverence for contemporary Romanian writers: two new collections dedicated to authors from our country – “Perspektiv” (non-fiction) and “Pantazi” (fiction) -, both coordinated by the poet, prose writer and essayist Cosmin Perța, will be released for the first time during the fair, the Castle in my town by Ioana Bâldea Constantinescu, the first Romanian novel from the publishing house's most important fiction collection – “Folio” -, awaits its readers in a new event, and the volume The white tulip. Letters and loves from the life of the ballerina Irinel Liciu by Ionuț Vulpescu, dedicated to one of the most outstanding figures of the Romanian artistic scene, is another unmissable meeting. With milk, a new volume of memoirs under the signature of Maia Morgenstern, a book that promises to quickly conquer the hearts of readers, as happened with Nu sunt eu (2020) and Eu sunt Maia (2022), which became bestsellers shortly after their publication national.
