According to a press release from DIICOT, between January and May 2024, traffickers repeatedly possessed and sold different quantities of high-risk and high-risk drugs to consumers in the city of Bucharest, but also in the counties of Ilfov and Giurgiu, writes Agerpres.
During Wednesday, a home search warrant was implemented in the city of Mihăileşti, Giurgiu county, and 14 kilograms of cocaine (a high-risk drug), with a market value of over 1,000,000 euros, were identified and seized, as and approximately 800 grams of cannabis and cannabis resin.

The drugs, portioned in molds protected by layers of foil and boxes, were found buried in several places in the yard of the building where two of the defendants live.
Also during the search, hand-made cigarettes, several grinders and high-precision scales, objects bearing traces of substances, as well as other means of evidence were seized.
The traffickers will be taken to the Bucharest Court with the proposal of preventive arrest.
