Justin Timberlake was arrested in New York. The artist got behind the wheel drunk

The American singer Justin Timberlake was arrested in Long Island, New York, after getting behind the wheel under the influence of alcoholic beverages, the Daily Mail reports.

The 43-year-old artist was stopped by police on Monday night in Sag Harbor, New York. Timberlake is now scheduled to appear before a judge.

He would perform two concerts in Chicago this weekend. In addition to the two shows, he has two more shows scheduled next week.

Multiple sources told TMZ that the artist was caught driving drunk after hanging out with several friends at a hotel in Sag Harbor.
