Just a few days before the National Assessment, the Minister of Education, Ligia Deca, comes with the final specifications for the conduct of the final exams of the 8th grade.
The exams for the 8th grade graduates will start on Tuesday, June 25, the first test being the Romanian Language and Literature, which will be held in 3,400 exam centers throughout the country, according to Ligia Deca, the Minister of Education.
In addition, for a good organization of the National Assessment tests, the Ministry of Education will organize meetings with the correctional teachers from all over the country for both the Romanian Language and Literature exam and the one for Mathematics.
“Some important information for the National Assessment that begins on Tuesday in almost 3,400 exam centers throughout the country. The distribution in rooms will be done in alphabetical order, by exam center. The children will receive, at the first test, the codes that will replace the name when the results are communicated. They will be published on evaluation.edu.ro“, the Minister of Education said.
At the end of the exam period, the papers will be corrected using the digital assessment platform, which was developed after the simulations were carried out, so that, in case of different scores on the grid-type items, the paper will be sent from us to two other assessments for checking or fixing errors.
“Also, for a more unified evaluation, before the evaluation begins, the Ministry of Education will organize meetings with correctional teachers from all over the country, both in Romanian language and literature, and in mathematics“, Ligia Deca wrote on Facebook.
The Minister of Education stated that, during the videoconferences of preparation for the National Assessment organized by the Ministry of Education this week, he received guarantees from the presidents of the county organizing commissions that the exam centers have the necessary resources to conduct the tests in appropriate conditions.
“Because we are talking about the preparation of the exam centers, I thank the local authorities who have already distributed water in the schools, to be offered to the children on the days when the written tests are held“, said the minister.
The National Assessment begins on June 25 with the Romanian Language and Literature test.
The Mathematics test is scheduled for June 27, and students from national minorities will take the native language and literature test on June 28.
The results of the National Assessment before appeals will be posted on July 3.
