The Hungarian national team still hopes to qualify for the round of 16, after dramatically defeating Scotland 1-0 (0-0), on Sunday evening, at the Stuttgart Arena, in its last match in Group A of the European Championship. The success of the Hungarians came in the 90th + 10th minute!

The German national team won Group A, after drawing, in extremis, with Switzerland, 1-1 (0-1), on Sunday evening, at the Frankfurt Arena. The Germans grabbed a point after Füllkrug scored in the 90+2 minute.
Final group A standings:
1. Germany 7 points
2. Switzerland 5p
3. Hungary 3p
4. Scotland 1p
The first two ranked, Germany and Switzerland, are in the eighth. Hungary can get there, depending on the results of other national teams that will be ranked 3rd in the rest of the Euro 2024 groups. At the final tournament, the best 3rd-placed teams will advance to the last 16.
