Aubameyang, 35 years old, accepted the offer of Al Qadsiah, who already transferred the Spanish defender Nacho, national and European champion with Real Madrid and continental champion with the Spanish team at EURO 2024.

The African striker made his professional football debut at Ligue 2 side Dijon in the 2008/2009 season on loan from AC Milan. He then played at Lille, Monaco, Saint-Etienne, Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal, Barcelona and Chelsea. At the national team of Gabon, he played 77 matches and scored 31 goals. Aubameyang was the top scorer in the Premier League in the 2018/2019 season while playing for Arsenal.

Although OM had a very disappointing season, with an 8th place in the championship and several changes of coaches, the Gabonese striker stood out with 30 goals and 11 assists in all competitions.

He became the top scorer in Europa League history with 34 goals. 10 of these goals were scored in the last edition of the Europa League, with Aubameyang being named the best player of the competition.
