The Ministry of Education has published the calendar of national exams for the next school year. The baccalaureate will be given earlier, but not the National Assessment.

The Social Dialogue Commission has approved the calendar of national exams for the 2024-2025 school year. The National Evaluation will take place on June 23 and 27. The written tests of the Baccalaureate exam will take place between June 10 and 16, in the case of the summer session, but the skills will be held in the winter.
More precisely, the National Assessment will take place on June 23 – the Romanian Language test, June 25 – the Mathematics test and June 27 – the Mother Tongue test.
On July 3, the initial results will be displayed, on July 4-5 the appeals will be submitted, and the final results will be displayed on July 10.
Baccalaureate 2025
The summer session of the Baccalaureate will take place between June 10 and 16. On June 10, the Romanian Language and Literature exam will take place, on June 11, the mandatory written exam of the profile (Mathematics/History), on June 13, there will be an exam of the choice of the profile, on June 16, the students who I take the exam in Mother Language and Literature. The results will be displayed on June 20, the period for submitting appeals is on June 23 and 24, and the final results will be displayed on June 30.
Before these tests, between January 27-29, the assessment of oral communication skills in Romanian will take place, on January 29-31, 2025, the assessment of oral communication skills in the mother tongue will take place, between February 3 and 5 conduct the evaluation of linguistic skills in an internationally spoken language, and between February 5 and 7, the evaluation of digital skills will be conducted.
The autumn session of the Baccalaureate exam will take place starting from August 4, when the evaluations will begin, from August 11 the written tests will be organized and the final results will be displayed on August 26.
When the simulations will be supported
Simulations for Baccalaureate will be held between March 24 and 27, and for National Assessment on March 17, 18 and 19.
“We took into account the proposals received and between each of the written tests of the national assessment the children will have a day off. Also, at the baccalaureate, candidates will have a day off after the first two tests. We have introduced the option that the works can be viewed after the initial results are displayed and before appeals are submitted, also as a result of the feedback received”stated on Thursday the Minister of Education, Ligia Deca.
