Rangers – FCSB, removed from the TV program for millions of Romanians: the explanation of a bizarre situation

Rangers – FCSB will be televised by Digi Sport 1, as expected, but a surprise came when the other channel that holds the rights, Prima Sport, showed this match on the right channel… Prima Sport 5!

According to the mentioned channel’s website, on Thursday, from 22.00, Prima Sport 1 will show another match from the Europa League, Fenerbahce – Manchester United. Instead, the much more important match for us, Rangers – FCSB, can be watched on Prima Sport 5, with the commentary of the couple Costi Mocanu – Emil Grădinescu.

According to golazo.ro, this decision represents bad news for many microbiologists in the country. Because Prima Sport 5 is a channel available only to 16% of TV subscribers in Romania. Specifically, Prima Sport 5 is only in the Orange grid, with 1.3 million subscribers. Golazo.ro noted that the most affected by this situation will be Vodafone subscribers. Because they don’t have Digi Sport 1 or Prima Sport 5 on the schedule. In conclusion, they won’t be able to see Rangers – FCSB on TV.
