Dana Budeanu, one of the most followed stars in Romania on social media, reacted in her characteristic style, after the independent candidate Călin Georgescu won, quite unexpectedly, from 1st place, the first round of the presidential elections.

Shortly after the polls closed and the counting of votes began, Dana Budeanu, who was very active in the electoral campaign and showed her support for Marcel Ciolacu, published on social networks several messages related to the presidential elections.
His acid comments were primarily aimed at Romanians abroad, who, in their vast majority, voted for the independent candidate Călin Georgescu.
“What did the diaspora do to me, did it vote with the Russians?”, wrote the star on his personal Instagram page. He later returned with another post: “How who voted? Those who in March 2020, by order, did not leave the house from the next day, a year, dumb, righteous”.
In fact, after Călin Georgescu won the first round of the presidential elections, followed in the ranking by Elena Lasconi, with whom he is going in the second round, Dana Budeanu wanted to specify the importance of social networks in modern politics, writes Click !.
“We are talking about an independent candidate, we are talking about Social Media, we don’t need any party. That gives total freedom to bring anyone in the second round. Anyone can reach exclusively on Social Media, as George Simion also reached, also through a fantastic surprise in 2019. Social Media helps the system that wants our good to propel anyone”, said the star.
She also reminded everyone how important the December 1 presidential elections are, because a state is basically run by the Parliament.
There’s no way, because the party vote intervenes in the second round, we know what that means, it’s impossible. But this level is very important. It should work especially with large consulting teams,” stated Dana Budeanu on Romania TV.
