But when it comes to new ownership, the numbers differ depending on the source. While some mention a 2.5 acre property (that’s over 10,000 square meters) and a three-story, over 1,000-square-foot main house with a heated pool and private wine cellar, other sources I mention a property of only 800 square meters considering the exclusive area in which it is located.
It is certain that one of the key aspects of the new property is the excellent insulation from the outside, which contributes to an increased sense of privacy. All the walls that delimit the property are surrounded by Arizona cypress trees, which exceed four meters in height, acting as a barrier against prying eyes.
In addition, the villa has an access gate equipped with surveillance cameras to control the entrances, exits and traffic around the house. Intimacy is one of the fundamental principles that define this environment. In fact, the interior of the house is completely armored.
The Gere family’s goal is to ensure that no details about their love nest reach the public eye. Thus, they required domestic workers to sign a confidentiality agreement to prevent any disclosure of their family life.
