From the summer of 2025, Sibiu International Airport will expand its flight options to a new destination loved by Romanians: Palma de Mallorca, one of the most popular holiday locations in Spain.

Sibiu Airport offers Romanians from the west of the country and adjacent southern regions affordable flights to popular holiday destinations around the world, providing them with a convenient connection and a quick travel option.
Thus, Palma de Mallorca (Spain) is added to the six destinations already available for the summer season at Sibiu International Airport: Antalya (Turkey), Crete – Heraklion and Rhodes (Greece), Hurghada and Marsa Alam (Egypt) and Monastir (Tunisia). .
Races will be available from April to October
To the seven external routes, 12 weekly charter flights will be operated by various airlines, such as: TAROM, Animawings, HiSky, Nouvelair, SKY Express, Tailwind Airlines or AlbaStar.
Direct international flights from Sibiu will be available, from June to September 2025, to Antalya, every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and to Heraklion – Crete, every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
For Egypt, flights will be available from April to October to Hurghada and Marsa Alam every Thursday. There will be a transfer from Hurghada to Marsa Alam.
To Monastir – Tunisia, tourists will be able to take off every Tuesday, from June to October 2025, and to Palma de Mallorca (Spain), every Saturday, from June to September 2025. They will also be available from June to September 2025 and the flights to Rhodes (Greece), every Thursday.
The representatives of the airport also mentioned that both the period and the days of operation of the flights may undergo changes.

Bookings available online or directly from travel agencies
Vacation packages departing from Sibiu can be booked on the websites of tour operators and travel agencies or directly at the agencies’ offices.
