The teacher allegedly assaulted the employee of the town hall because of a fit of jealousy. The scandal broke out after the teacher learned that the victim had tried to flirt with her husband, a local farmer.

Following the incident, the teacher was charged with a criminal case and with a restraining order.

I was at work in my office. I was surprised by a lady I didn’t know, who entered my office and locked the door behind her with the keys that were in the closet, on the inside. I woke up attacked, knocked to the floor with her on top of me, punching me”the man’s alleged mistress told Observer News.

According to witness statements, the teacher entered the office, locked the door and began to assault her. Following the incident, the victim was allegedly scratched on the face.

The incident took place at lunchtime, while there were several people in the town hall, both employees and locals. The witnesses said that the teacher walked in front of the City Hall before attacking the woman.

The victim cried for help, and the city hall employees had to break down the door to separate the two.

“He locked the door, took out the key and put it in his pocket. He started punching her, knocking her down. When we entered the office, her face was scratched, she had a broken lip”said Marius Constantin Baban, deputy mayor of Focuri commune.

The victim also claimed that there is only a strictly professional relationship between her and the woman’s husband.

“I mention that the only connection between me and this gentleman is strictly professional. I am in a state of shock and feel like a victim of a conspiracy through these baseless rumours.”the employee of the town hall also said, according to the quoted source.
