The intervention was performed by Dr. Adela Dimitriade and the intervention radiology team, under the coordination of Dr. Bogdan Dorobăț. The specialists emphasize that the success of the procedure was due to the collaboration between interventionist radiologists and endocrinologists.
“This success would not have been possible without the expertise and vision of the multidisciplinary team, consisting of intervention radiologists and the specialists from the Endocrinology Clinical Section, led by Mrs. Păun Diana Loreta. The team of endocrinologists played an essential role in the careful selection of the case, in the patient’s guidance and in the integration of this innovative technique in current medical practice ”the doctors explained.
