The authorities are alerted in connection with the flood waiting for Prut, said Mircea Fechet (PNL) on Tuesday, May 27, who explained for what areas hydrological warnings were issued.

Mircea Fechet stated in the show “The politics of the day ”from the B1 TV station, that there are red code warnings issued inhga that enter into force on Tuesday.
“I am referring to new warnings, and they will end, if they will not be modified in one way, on May 29. This makes us extremely cautious and alert in the field and prepared for any kind of intervention. said the minister.
According to the Minister of the Environment, the authorities are still on alert on the two localities in Covasna who were evacuated on Monday night, but they are in other areas.
“We are with our eyes on the accumulation from Săcele, where we reached the ability to fill the hydrotenic accumulation of 15 million cubic meters and, to the extent that we will not be able to evacuate sufficiently, there is also the possibility to lift the stavile to win another 5 million meters that can be accumulated there, but that attracts the risk of a second road.” Mircea Fechet said.

The minister also referred to the alert targeting the Prut River:
“We are alerted by the flood we are waiting for on Prut, the colleagues have already started evacuation maneuvers at the accumulation from Costești Rock, but we are waiting for serious rain and floods in the upper basin, upstream of Costești, and this alerts all my colleagues.”
According to the minister, the Romanian authorities are related to those from Moldova and Ukraine regarding the situation on Prut.
Regarding the danger of floods, Fechet said that there are isolated situations and that, under no circumstances, it will not be serious as it was last year in Galați and Vaslui.
