Romania conquered six medals, three of which of gold, two of bronze and one silver, in the six finals in which it had representatives on Saturday at the European Rowing Championships in Plovdiv (Bulgaria).

The first gold medal of the tricolors was obtained in double female frames, with a new European record (06: 49.18), by Magdalena Rusu and Simona Radiş.
Gold also won Florin Arteni and Florin Lehaci, double male frames, also with new European record (06: 11.57).
The third gold medal was brought by the four -frame men’s crew, Ştefan Berariu, Sergiu Bejan, Andrei Mândrilă and Ciprian Tudosă (05: 48.27), with an advance of more than a second and a half compared to Croatia, ranked second, writes Agerpres.
The Olympic champions Sebastian Cornea and Marian Enache obtained only the silver in double male rins (06: 03.87), expanded by Poland (06: 02.93).
At four female frames, Adriana Adam, Maria Lehaci, Ancuţa Bodnar and Amalia Bereş won the silver (06: 21.50), being detached for almost two seconds by the Netherlands.
In the dual female rows, Andrada Moroşanu and Mariana Dumitru obtained the bronze medal (06: 51.96), detached by the Netherlands (06: 48.83) and Greece (06: 49.11).
On Sunday, Romania will be represented in four other finals at the Europeans in Plovdiv.
At last year’s European Championships in Szeged (Hungary), Romania ranked second in the final ranking on nations, after the United Kingdom, with eight medals, of which four gold, two silver and two bronze.
